Marina Costa-Jackson is a singer that has always been interesting to me. The Costa-Jackson gene pool is fascinating, because all three sisters Ginger, Marina and Miriam sing.
I often think about how nice it must be to have two other closets I could pull gowns from. I want to be a Costa-Jackson sister!!!!
One thing is for certain; those girls know how to do a “winged eye” with their eyeliner !
Marina takes us through how she created this look for our Photo shoot for Shoperatic.com
Marina started with Smashbox phoro finish primer. Then, she used L’Oreal true match foundation in C3 and Bye Bye Undereye by It Cosmetics in neutral medium. She then used concealer from Bare Minerals in fairly medium in the T zone and under eye for highlighting. For her forehead, chin and cheeks she used the same concealer in golden medium.
Marina primed her eyes with Lorac’s Behind the Scenes eye primer. Afterwards, using the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, she applied strange to the eye lid and under the brow bone. In the outer crease of the eye, she used blackheart and finally, with nooner she blended in the whole length of the crease and lower lid.
She applied Maybelline’s Line Stiletto Eyeliner in blackest black, and then used several coats Maybelline’s the Colossal Volume Express in Glam Black on her top lashes and then used the waterproof formula to seal her top lashes. She included the waterproof formula on her bottle lashes. Her beautiful lashes are Ardel Whispies, applied with Duo Lash Glue.
On her lips, she lines them with Maybelline lip liner in Mauve and then used Smashbox Be Legendary lipstick in Magenta Matte.
Finally, for contouring & blush, Marina used the Too Faced The Little Black Book of Bronzers Palette and Mac Shimmer Blush in Peach Twist. Under her cheekbones, she used Chocolate Soleil and on her hair line, jaw line and chin, she used a mix of endless summer and chocolate bunny.
